Despite the heavy rain on Friday, October 30, the Killington campus still managed to hold their annual RailJam. The event was full of spills and thrills, mostly the spills were due to the man-made snow turning into slush from the downpour of the rain. Skiers and snowboarders were given the opportunity to compete for prizes like snowboards, goggles, etc. Prizes were given out to the guys and ladies who performed the best tricks on the layout of the scene.
The features the skiers and boarder competed on consisted of a flat down box, a down bar in the middle, and my personal favorite, the down flat box on the right side. Each contestant was given the chance to take as many runs as he or she wanted and they were given a bib with their number on it. Judges voted on the contestants that performed the sickest tricks. Putting the miserable weather aside, everyone that went got an opportunity to get free stuff and see some tricks.
