Brooms and bludgeons

The Quidditch World cup was held at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. There were over twenty teams in attendance for the event. There were teams from all over the United States, and even a team from Canada. Quidditch is played by running around with a broom between your legs while trying to doge the bludgeon (a dodge ball) and get the Quafful (a slightly deflated volleyball) through the hoops on the opponent’s side. The GMC team made it to eighth place this year. We played a great game and hope to do better next year.
